MEET THE ZOO R US FAMILY
Since childhood, I have been fascinated with nature and wildlife. Climbing trees and observing baby birds in their natural habitat was my favorite pastime. I even trained wild pigeons to follow me to school and back, and took care of abandoned baby opossums while breeding exotic birds like McCaw's and Parrots. In 1995, I was given the opportunity to volunteer at a USDA Facility in San Antonio Tx., which helped me gain valuable knowledge and skills in caring and maintaining exotic animals. Since then, my passion for animals has only grown stronger.
mentoring our children
In 1999, on Halloween, I met my wife who shared my passion for animals. We embarked on a journey to turn our passion into a reality with the help of our four children and supportive family members. Together, we fulfilled our mission and brought extra joy to our lives.
Since birth, our children have been taught to love and respect all animals in accordance with Jesus' teachings. They have acquired a wide range of knowledge and skills to handle and care for various animal species, including venomous snakes.
